In recent times, multi-power generation units such as Coal, Combined cycle, Nuclear, and Captive plants are experiencing a challenging environment because of the rapid deregulation and eco-friendly power generating requirements. Thus, maintaining the performance and the efficiency of the Power plant becomes a herculean task.

Usually, in Power plants, the Turbine and the Condenser play an essential role in power generation. The Cooling (Sea or River) water will be used as a cooling medium to reject heat from the condenser.It’s very important that the cooling water fed to condenser should be free from debris and avoid blockageto maintain effective heat transfer and Condenser backpressure.

Understanding this critical requirement, GEA BGR recommend to Install an AutomaticDebris Filter close to the condenser Inlet to prevent any form of debris from either entering and clinging itself into to the condenser tubes thereby removing all foreign matters and feed the debris free water to condenser.
