Diaphragm valves serve as efficient on-off valves allowing flow in either direction by means of non-raising spindle. The Glandless design eliminates the emission control Problems and expansive gland maintenance, throttling and control characteristics are enhanced by a streamlined flow path that is cavity free and provide excellent flow control capabilities. This type of valves have smooth flow and simple operations in any positions. Unobstructed passageway when in the “full open” position. This is made possible by the wedge lifting entirely out of the passageway. As a result, Diaphragm valves are characterized by a minimum of turbulence and pressure drop during operation. While Diaphragm valves are well-suited for applications requiring these two factors, they are not recommended for installations where throttling would be a function. They are designed specifically for on/off service. The valve is available in size ranging from DN25 to DN150 and #150 / PN 10 and pressure ratings with flanged ends.
